Senga Jones AKA " Ms. CPR

I'm a retired surgical nurse and mother of five children. For over 14 years I worked with world-renowned surgeons such as Ben Carson, and in prominent institutions such as John Hopkins. Now I'm an AHA BLS certified CPR instructor helping new families keep their new arrivals safe.

Why It’s Important for Parents to Know Infant CPR? Would you know what to do if your baby stopped breathing? If you don’t feel prepared to respond to a medical emergency involving your infant, don’t hesitate to learn CPR, a procedure that consists of chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Hopefully, you’ll never be in the position of having to perform CPR on your baby, but it could happen. Undergoing infant CPR training will ensure that you’re prepared in case an unfortunate emergency occurs. Administering CPR could save your baby’s life if his heart stops beating or he isn’t breathing adequately. Infants more often have breathing problems than an actual heart problem. Prevention of choking in infants is crucial. It is important to begin CPR immediately and perform five sets of CPR before going to get additional help.

Mrs. CPR training is like a car seat. Your baby shouldn't come home without it.
